Uk Travels- Grab the car and go!

We arrived earlier than expected at Gatwick Airport and had to kill an hour until we could pick up our rental car. Once we had our wheels it was straight to the open roads and head for Kenn a small real village just outside of Exeter where we stayed for the night with family. The journey took us past Stonehenge, some highway traffic and eventually to the tiny village of Kenn. The St. Andrew’s Church in Kenn dates to the 14th century and features a 2000 year old Yew Tree in its yard. A wander inside was very interesting and a hot drink at the Ley Arms, a 13th century thatched roof inn rounded out our visit before heading further south into Cornwall
