Another lovely day spent exploring and photographing some of the Lake District’s most beautiful locations. We began at Skelwith Bridge, where the sound of the rushing water and the surrounding woodland made for some lovely photographic opportunities. From there, we continued to Blea Tarn, a truly picturesque spot with its peaceful waters, dramatic mountain scenery and reflections that make it a photographer’s dream. The changing light across the fells created a wonderful atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to capture the natural beauty of this special place. Our visit also took us to Aira Force, one of the Lake District’s best-known waterfalls, where the water tumbles through a rocky gorge surrounded by woodland. The walk through the trees, with the sound of the falls growing louder as we approached, was a real treat. Each location had its own charm, from tranquil tarns and rugged mountain views to the power and movement of the waterfall. It was another memorable day discovering the beauty of the Lake District through the camera lens, and a reminder of just how much there is to see and photograph in this wonderful part of England.
