Sunday wander in Almonte…

Yesterday my family and I attended a fall craft fair in Almonte, Ontario, a small local town. There were lots of unique and interesting crafts for sale as well as a huge crowd to take it all in. Rivyr enjoyed a “Smor Whoopie Pie”  The town itself has some very nice shops, amazing architecture and a fantastic waterfall located right in the center of town. Almonte was a typical Ottawa valley town with a large water powered mill that provided the main source of employment. It is also famous as the birthplace of Dr. James Naismith, the inventor of basketball. I managed to take some photos as we wandered around town.
