Ann-Marie and I enjoyed a nice afternoon canoeing on the Ottawa river near Morris Island Conservation area. We paddled on the section of the river just above the Chats Dam hydro generating station. The water in the reservoir was quite low and exposed many rocky outcrops and new islands for us to explore. It was a hot and sunny afternoon with amazing cloud formations overhead.
