Jeff and I had a great day on the Ottawa river fly fishing for small mouth bass. We started the morning off with a video shoot for Ontario Highland Tourist Association. I was in front of the camera for a change throwing flies for the videographer as Jeff moved us around on the drift boat. Once completed we stayed on the water for some fishing of our own. Once again the river did not disappoint, we caught and released many fish. Surface flies were the order of the day as most of our fish were caught using different poppers. Love watching the fish explode out of the water when they hit. Summer is fading quickly but still some great days to be had on the water.
