Fultons Sugar Bush, Lanark County, On., Canada

With the days getting longer and the snow rapidly melting the annual sap runoff begins in this par of the world. I am addicted to maple Syrup, it make the heart pound with the first scent of it, the pounding only increases when you are right in the bush where they are making it. An incredible amount of sap must be boiled to get that delicious golden syrup. We went to a local sugar bush and pancake house near Pakenham this past weekend to participate in the spring time fun. Fulton’s offers tours of the syrup making process, horse drawn sleigh rides through the property, small park for the kids to play, gift shop and a dining room.
