Manoir Papineau National Historic Site

Quick visit to the grounds around the Manoir Papineau in the town of Montebello Que. An incredible property to visit on the shores of the Ottawa river, the manor itself is a wonderful piece of 19th century architecture and the surrounding garden and forest are impressive. There is a huge 300 year old Red Oak tree out front and various outbuildings which include a granary and stone chapel. A definite place to stop for a visit.
