Snowflake Kingdom, Winterlude 2024

Winterlude 2024 has kicked off in Ottawa with events happening throughout the city and the region. I took a quick trip over the bridge to the Quebec side of the Ottawa river to check out the Snowflake Kingdom. I parked near the Canadian Museum of History and walked along Laurier St. the event site located at the north end of Jacques Cartier Park. Admission is free and you can check out the snow scupltures, zip lining, maze, snowball fights, obstacle course and even try lacrosse. Live entertainment on various stages as well as entertainers wandering around the site. Loads of refreshments, souvenirs and laughs to be had. Longest lines for for the Snow Tubing, they have once again built a huge ramp with loads of lanes to slide down. Some frames from my visit.
