Winter Kite Boarding – Britannia Beach

The winds were howling along the Ottawa river this afternoon, making for some insane conditions out on the ice. Snow was whipping across the river with the heavy winds. Those who were brave enough to venture out were treated to some extreme conditions, patches of fresh snow combined with wind polished ice all over Britannia bay. Visibility would get a bit thin at some points well I was out, great test for my camera gear for focusing and tracking the kiters.
